Flow! Youth Voices for Nature 2025 combined environmental education and wellbeing, for senior high school students at Victor Harbor.
This project enhanced the sense of agency for young people within their community. In a series of workshops, senior students learned about local marine ecosystems and conservation, as well as exploring their own connections with nature. Students were guided in how to support their own wellbeing, and students volunteered to attended an extra workshop on public speaking.
Artwork and short talks from these workshops were showcased in a SALA exhibition at the South Australian Whale Centre from 18th - 28th August 2025. It was a great way for students to get experience in public speaking, community engagement and leadership.
This project was supported by Landscape Hills and Fleurieu’s Grassroots Grants Program, funded by the landscape levy.
