Flow! Youth Voices for Nature 2025 Workshops & art exhibition…
Flow! Youth Voices for Nature combines environmental education and wellbeing, for senior high school students at Victor Harbor.
Two classes of year 12 Marine Science students and a class of year 10 art students learned about local marine ecosystems and conservation. The students also explored their own connections with nature and were guided in practical strategies to boost their own wellbeing. Some students attended an additional workshop on public speaking.
Artwork and short talks from these workshops were showcased in a SALA exhibition at the South Australian Whale Centre from 18th - 28th August 2025. It was a great way for students to get experience in public speaking, community engagement and leadership. Supporting youth empowerment with events like this, is vital for their ongoing wellbeing.
This project was supported by Landscape Hills and Fleurieu’s Grassroots Grants Program, funded by the landscape levy.
